In an extra affidavit, the Affiliation for Democratic Reforms (ADR), which approached the Supreme Courtroom in opposition to the electoral bond, alleged that some key officers within the ministries opposed the transfer.

The petitioners identified that the additional time was granted with the intention of elevating extra funds in a scarcity of transparency earlier than the meeting elections in some states. On November 7, the Ministry of Finance issued a notification permitting 15 extra days for the sale of electoral bonds.
